H L College of Commerce a premier educational institute in western India was established by Ahmedabad Educational Society (AES) in the year 1936, for its startup the institute has received donations from Shri Amritlal Hargovandas Sheth and Shri Tribhovandas Hargovandas in the memory of their father. Since, its inceptions year the institute has earned high remarks for its impeccable educational system and disciplinary standard. Along with educational excellence the institute has bagged twice The Best College Awards in its state.
